MS Office Product Key in (% Working Keys) – Question Info

 

I have had Microsoft Office Professional Plus installed in my computer for over a year working with no problem. Decided to download from Microsoft a “language pack” to spell check a language that I occasionally write in. The language pack did not work correctly.

Decided to “chat” with a Microsoft agent to adjust the problem. In the process I was asked to load one of the services, i.

I did but by mistake clicked on a line that said “Change Product Key”. When I did that the product key became blank. Didn’t worry about it at first because I had a record of it and just copied the 25 number key as requested and pressed enter. Got a notice that my product can not be activated because it has been installed over the limit of allowed times.

Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. I am afraid I don’t know what a HUP license is. I bought my license to Microsoft Office Professional Plus through Amazon downloaded from one of their merchants’ site whose name I no longer have. They provided me with the Activation Key which I used and everything ran smoothly.

Subsequently I had a problem with my desktop and had to reinstall Office and again it was validated and worked fine. As previously indicated, I was on a chat with Microsoft trying to work out the installation of a language pack and was asked to check the validation. Inadvertently I clicked on the “validation key” field and it went blank.

Reentered the key and now get the message that it has been installed more times than allowed. That’s my problem.
