So I’ve rebuilt the Icon cache. Tried to restore to previous versions of the icons to no avail. And everything else short of a full re-install which I can’t do because I bought Office on по этой ссылке of the digital shhowing a while back. Any help would be great.

I am using Windows Vista business I had changed some security settings, later I restored them to default. But MS officeicons for word, excel etc, are displaying to unknown format. Rohn MVP. I don’t understand. What do you mean the icons are displaying to unknown format? Icons on desktop shortcuts are a function of Windows. What version of Windows are you running. Is it fully current with Windows Updates.
